MAC Cinderella Collection~ My haul

Well, all I can say is I'm a sucker for cute looking makeup.
So, I bought a good chunk of pieces from MAC's Cinderella collection, and wow, I am in love with the packaging. The items all come in this powder blue packaging with a baby pink duo chrome layer on top. It's absolutely gorgeous! I'm not swatching or reviewing the pieces yet, I'll do it when my nails look nice, so in a few weeks probably. My stance on my makeup itself is in the air I need to experiment a bit with it because I'm unsure how to make all the pieces work for me in a complete look. I tried today, and I wasn't satisfied with how it came out, in all honesty. So, for now I'll just show some pretty pictures, give a light description and we'll save the rest for another day when I have a better opinion on the makeup.
MAC Cinderella Beauty Powder in Mystery Princess~ A silvery pinkish-beige highlighter.
MAC Cinderella Iridescent Pressed Powder in Coupe D'Chic~ A shimmery golden-peach facial highlighter? blush? both? I'm not quite sure, honestly.

MAC Cinderella Eyeshadow palette in Stroke of Midnight~ Shades include Vapour, a light peachy-pink; Phloof!, a frosty off-white; Omega, a beige-taupe; Quarry, a plum-brown; Satin Taupe, a silvery taupe, and Stroke of Midnight, a black sparkly plum, which is the only colour in the palette that's a special edition shade for this release.

MAC Cinderella Fluidline in Little Black Bow~ A silvery-gray cream eyeliner.

MAC Cinderella Glitter in Reflects Pearl~ A fine loose white glitter.

Both lipsticks in the collection side by side.
MAC Cinderella Lipstick in Royal Ball~ A nude-pink lipstick
MAC Cinderella Lipstick in Free as a Butterfly~ A sheer golden nude lipstick.
MAC Cinderella Lip glass in Happily Ever After~ A cool, shimmery pink lip gloss.
I'm happy to have gotten the collection, and probably pretty lucky as I was able to snag them when it went up online at 4am, PST~ So, I'm pretty happy. I just need to play around with it a bit.
Again, I think the collection is just gorgeous visually so I'm excited to display it on my vanity. Not to mention, Cinderella one of my favourite Disney movies, and I can't wait for the live action film to come out.

  1. The packaging on this make up is lovely! The pretty blue is so sophisticated and elegant. I really love the look of the grey gel eyeliner - I've never seen that shade before for eyeliner and it looks interesting. Can't wait to see swatches.

  2. I really want to try this collection, it's just a touch out of my price range. The packaging is beautiful, the colors are so soft and natural. It's very elegant, very much what I think of when I think Cinderella.

I cannot wait to see how you work it all into your everyday collection, and the swatches. The eyeshadows are the main product I want to pick up.

  3. Absolutely love the Cinderella line too. I'm pretty sure the lipsticks are my favourite tho cause the tones are right in my ball park and would match me ;x! I thought the glass slipper was apart of what you've received, but I realized it was probably something you had lying around. Wonder how anything could look bad on you Carisse :P
