Ice Cream in LA

My friends and I lalalove ice cream. To the point we'll take long drives to try the newest and most interesting places. 

 The newest ice cream truck in LA would be the Big Gay Ice Cream truck [site here], visiting from New York~
The people working the truck were sooooo ulta sweet and it was a pleasure to leave a tip~
I was also glad tat we came 35 minutes before the truck arrived as a good amount of people already showed up. By the time the truck was set up the line was going down the block.. So lucky for us~

 But, I ended up getting the Fig and Olive oil, and to my maybe horror, it was ice cream with fig and olive oil drizzled on top. So shocking!
But unlike how it looks/smells, it tasted surprisingly delicious after I got over the thought of gobbling up olive oil.

 My friend ended up getting the Salty Pimp, which seemed to be the one everyone else in line got, and it was so yummy too!!

 My other friend decided on the Mermaid, which was like a pie with ice cream, or should I say ice cream with a pie on the side~<3 Very tart and scrumptious!

Such a worth it trip out!

My friend's and my favorite ice cream place to frequent would be Cool Haus [site link]  I've also talked about them in previous blog entries but whatever~ Haha.

 Cool haus has the crazies flavours of ice cream and cookies to create interesting ice cream sandwiches  that maybe only your imagination could conjurer up!

 This time, I didn't feel like an ice cream sandwich and decided on Polar Berry by itself, which I've decided is my all time favourite, and is basically me as an icecream!
Perfection!

 MY friend got Dirty Mint, which is SOOOO yummy! It's like mint, but dirty... I don't mean like choclolate or alcohol but it tastes earthy and well, 'dirty' in like, the yummiest way...

My other friend after a hard decision went with the Salted Caramel, yumyum! It's like a salted Dulce de leche more like, it was very rich in flavour and a great ice cream!

AAH~ This place is still my all time favourite go to place, even though it's so out of the way for me<3

What's in my bag~

 So, my birthday is past and I received a cute new bag as one of my presents<3
A I was transferring all of my items from my usual purse into the new one, I thought that I should share what I usually carry with me.

 I'm kind of glad how everything fits so nicely into the new bag!

 What I usually have on hand in my bag:
Keys, wallet, coin purse thing, pen, oil blotting papers, watch, hair tie, cellphone and dolly wink lash case. I also keep my camera in my purse too, but I can't really include that in the picture...

 In my dolly wink case I have some mini tweezers and lash glue for touch ups.

 Instead of a normal wallet, I keep all my cards and bills in a cute coin purse.

In the other small coin purse I keep Dramamine because I get really bad motion sickness when I drive/am in a car, EOS watermelon lip balm, Clinique lip tint and a random light pink lip gloss.

Also, I took a picture of all the birthday gifts I received the other day<3

G&G Dolce Hazel Lens~ Review

Part of my order from Pinkyparadise, I ordered the G&G Dolce Hazel lenses [for purchase here]

 Here's what they look like on the site and the stats:
Diameter: 14.5mm
Water Content: 38%
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Type: 1 Year Disposal
What inside: One pair of lenses and one cutie animal lens case

 I don't know if I just have the misfortune of getting defective lenses from pinkyparadise or what? This is my 3rd pair that are extremely painful for me to wear... I had to lay off lenses for a week after because my eyes were so red and irritated after and after removal I even had a weird clear film come off my eye balls.. So ultra painful just after just over 4 hours...
And yes, I was wearing them the correct way, checking that they curve correctly before putting them in.
Besides that, one lens had a sort of air pocket and wouldn't lay down correctly and kept getting caught when my eyes closed and popping out.
It's too bad they hurt so much because the look of them look so nice with a heavier eye makeup!
With my normal lighter makeup they do seem a bit to heavy looking because of the thicker limbal ring, so personal preference I don't really enjoy the all over look of them, they're not that natural looking like I thought they'd be looking at the picture of them on the site...

For comfort I would give them a 1/5 and look wise they would be a 3/5.

I tossed them out after the first day of wear. It was torture and I'm scared to go to the optometrist to see if it caused damage... Not fun.

Seriously though, I'm not sure if I got a defective pair.... I feel like they were..
